Sweater: French Connection via T.J. Maxx | Leggings: T.J. Maxx | Riding boots: Clarks via Zappos (last year) | Bag: LV Speedy
The doors are finally painted black! I’ve been anxiously awaiting this day. They were a funky shade of chili pepper red which I never really loved. Our new lanterns are up, and the new brick walkway is complete. Hubby gets all the credit for dreaming up the new walkway, but I’m lovin’ it and it fits into my vision perfectly! It’s all coming together and I still promise to post some pics of all the home improvements soon.
As for the sweater…It is one of my favorites, and one of my luckiest T.J. Maxx finds of all time. Several of my favorite things all in one garment. It’s a cowl neck, stripes, and it’s by French Connection which is a brand I love. Cozy sweaters, leggings or jeggings, riding boots, and a messy top knot are just perfect for running errands and hanging with the little ones when they return home from school.
Sometimes it is really a challenge to balance stay at home motherhood with style and blog worthy ensembles. Getting dressed was easier when I worked in the office. Although I wouldn’t trade staying home for anything, it does takes a little extra effort and planning ahead with the wardrobe. Sometimes the greatest challenge is finding appropriate occassions to wear the heels and dressier items that I love so much. I guess maybe Jeff and I will have to go out on more dates…wink wink!
