Hey, Ladies! I wanted to share some photos of our lovely and leisurely visit to a local farm. It was a perfect fall day for a seasonal, family excursion. By perfect, of course I mean the proper temperature for a cozy sweater and knee high boots! Just kidding! There were many other things perfect about the day, but I figured it would be appropriate to tie it to style in some way, right?
Anywho, this quaint little farm had such an amazing selection of gourds and fancy pumpkins. Once the kitchen project comes to a close, we need to go back and pick up a few more little decor delights. For now, I picked out a tall white pumpkin, and a little squatty green one for the hearth.
Speaking of decor, I am having my front and side doors painted black. Black suede to be exact…according to BEHR. Our home is sage green with white trim and I think the black doors will enhance that quaint, colonial vibe that I am consistently drawn to. It is all coming together beautifully. At the risk of sounding over the top sappy, I am going to say that I feel as if the vision I have held since childhood is unfolding before me. The family, the decor, the love, the opportunity to create! I feel Blessed indeed.
I promise to share some house photos within the next couple of weeks. I love the coziness of Holiday decor so this is the perfect time for it.
