I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Mine was a bit busy, and so I didn’t have a chance to edit photos in time for the usual Monday morning post.  Sometimes I get to thinking I’ve gotten myself involved in too many things, but then I remember how blessed I am to have so many people & fur babies to love…who love me and value time with me.   So, Tuesday morning post, it is.

Let’s talk about crisp white collared shirts for a moment.  I love them.  Long sleeve, short sleeve, sleeveless, button up, pop over…so so good.  Now, I’ve been spending some too much time thinking about investing in a white off the shoulder piece.  There are so many gorgeous options out there, and I love all the looks on Pinterest featuring this trend.  For some reason, I haven’t been able to follow through on a purchase and I think it may be because I’m concerned I won’t want to wear it a year from now.  Also, I have so many white collared shirts that I love.  I think it is possible to create a very similar look & vibe with a classic white collared shirt as with the white off the shoulder tops.  I may very well end up caving, but for now…this is my take on it.  I’m really trying to purchase only pieces that remix very well and that I can see myself using for years and across seasons.

What are your thoughts about off the shoulder?  Will it stick around, worth investing in?  They are gorgeous!

Prior to this photo shoot, hubby picked me up some lettuce sprouts to plant.  I guess he figures we should grow it since I eat so much salad.  Thus the random sprouts in the photos…and, no, I didn’t plant them in heels {insert goofy face emoji}.
